McKinney Ranch Family Dental

I have been to several dentist in the area. I really like Dr. Yang and the staff. Not sure why the other reviewers complained about front desk but I had no issues with my visits. Anyway, I will definitely recommend this office to my family and friends.

The star is solely for Dr. Yang because she has always been a great/honest dentist but the front office staff is why I can’t give anymore and will be switching dentists. I called on December 18th to inquire about a prescription and had to follow up about it again on December 22nd because they said they were busy. It is now January 5,2026 and I still haven’t been able to get my prescription. They wanted me to drive to the office to get the slip so I can take it to the pharmacy because the receptionist stated they’re “too busy” to call it into the pharmacy. I don’t live close to the dental office anymore and their hours coincide with my normal working hours and I’m not going to use PTO just to get a prescription. My family and I have been going to Dr. Yang and Dr. Chen for years, and I’m ashamed to say I’ve never thought to post a review, but I finally am. I just want to say how wonderful they have been for me, my husband, and my now three grown children. Dr. Yang and Dr. Chen have always told us like it is when it comes to dental work and we know that’s not always the case when you go to the dentist. They are honest and clear with what we need to do, and we have never had to question their integrity. They are both genuinely happy to see each of their patients and give them the best of care. Their staff follows their lead as well. Dr. Amy Chen is very friendly skillful and gentle. I had 2 cavities underneath my gum. She could send me for root canal and put crowns on both and charge me a lots. But she was trying her best to save my tooth not to put crown on. I am so thankful for her kindness. I am always scared to visit dentist especially the needles into the gum but dr. Chen is so skillful I didn’t feel any pain. The office workers are very nice with pleasant atmosphere. I enjoy to visit this office and strongly recommend to you.

I have been going to Dr. Yang for over 10 years, all of my boys grew up going there. She is a very ethical dentist, never pressured me to get any unnecessary procedures. The staff has always worked with us on appointments. It is a great dentist office to start with or move to.
