⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m so thankful for the care my Happy receives here. Everyone was kind, patient, and genuinely attentive from start to finish. Dr. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable, and was so patient with me. He listened to all my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure my pet felt comfortable the whole time. You can tell he truly cares about what he does and about every animal that comes through the door. The staff were just as kind and professional, and I am touched with how personable and welcoming everyone has been. The place is spotless and well-run, and parking (metered as well as street parking! 😊) is super easy, which makes visits way less stressful. We have been going to McGrath for years for our dogs, especially whenever we have a more urgent or emergency need. We've had dogs hospitalized multiple times here and have always been impressed by the doctors and staff. They can always get us in ASAP when we have anything urgent and we do not have any wait time once we arrive. Most recently, our 7-month-old puppy was hospitalized here for 3 nights due to pneumonia over Christmas holiday. Despite being closed on Christmas Day, they were still able to hospitalize him and had a technician watching over him 24/7. Our pup was up and down in regards to his stability, and they continued to change their care plan in response to his symptoms/progression. I had an exceptional experience at McGrath Veterinary Center. The service here is truly outstanding by far the best I’ve ever received for my pets. The entire team is professional, attentive, and extremely caring. They don’t just treat animals; they genuinely care about their well-being. My cats were seen by Dr. Elysa Braunstein so many many time and she is absolutely incredible. She explained everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions with patience, and provided clear guidance for treatment and follow-up care. What impressed me the most is how she treated my cats as if they were her own. This review is long overdue, but I wanted to make sure to give a shoutout to the amazing McGrath team. I have taken my mini-golden doodle to them for years before moving to San Diego and they have always provided top tier care. Scheduling is flexible, wait times are reasonable, staff is friendly, and parking nearby is always available. The staff has also gone above and beyond for us, specifically when I was in a bind to get mandatory vaccines prior to dropping my pup off for boarding that same day - calling them en route driving from SD to LA, they empathized with my situation and were able to fit in an appt around the exact time we were expected to arrive in LA (absolute life savers!!). We had such a wonderful experience at McGrath Veterinary Center. From the moment we walked in, every single person—from the front desk staff to the vet techs—was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Dr. Dhillon did an amazing job with my dog’s dental cleaning and extractions. He explained everything clearly, treated my dog with such gentle care, and truly put my mind at ease throughout the process.
