McCormick Animal Hospital

McCormick Animal Hospital is wonderful- it’s a find. My senior pug mix Maggie had terrible teeth ever since she was a puppy. Due to the cost of dental procedures at other Vets I had been to, I delayed having her teeth cleaned. Thank God someone recommended McCormick Animal hospital. Not only were the costs affordable but the care she received, both Dr. Claus and Dr. Fairbairn are exceptional vets who are straight forward, care focused and kind. Shout out to staff member Darlene, who is quite possibly one of the kindest people I have ever met. This is not a "fancy" vet- they are self admittedly not high tech - there are plenty of those around if that’s what you are looking for. They provided exceptional care for my 14-year-old Rottweiler. He had a large tumor in his testicles, and they successfully and safely removed it. They are amazing at what they do and their services are also very affordable, which is rare to find these days. I also appreciate their daily walk-in hours, it’s very convenient if you can’t make a scheduled appointment. They take the time to answer all of your questions and provide detailed aftercare instructions too. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I couldn’t be happier that we entrusted them with his care. I highly recommend them for all of your pet’s needs!

Took my pet to McCormick Animal Hospital today after speaking to the receptionist on 10/23/25. She informed me that the office would waive the $125 first time visit pet fee since my dog has been going there for over 12 years. The head Vet(Dr. Clui) called me to say that the fee wasn't going to be waived and that she is in charge and if I kept arguing with her she would kick my husband and my dog out of the office and we could not return. WOW! Where did professional customer service treatment go. And she said this in front of other patients. Truly shocked!

One of the free family owned animal hospitals left. The vets are knowledgeable and practical. They have obviously have been taking care of family pets for decades.

They make assessments over the phone about dog's without seeing them. Then when some 1 tries to explain how much blood is in their dog's stool they just disregard the concern. Of course people will get upset over that. Then I come in because my dog is sick and they refused service. There was also no notification that I would never receive service either
