McCann's Pharmacy & Adirondack Compounding

I absolutely love this pharmacy! The staff are the best around. They are patient and kind. Keep up the great work!

I switched to McCanns because I really like being able to call, “press one” and speak to someone immediately. They deliver: you do have to be home to get your meds. It’s very nice not to have to deal with all the automation of typical chain pharmacies. I really like that my insurance dollars are staying super local at McCanns.

I’m so impressed by this place. My vet called in a prescription there. It’s one that needs to be compounded, so you can’t get it right away. I called to ask how long it would take and they said a few days. I asked the pharmacist (unfortunately I don’t know his name) if there was any way to get it done sooner. He said that he could give her a suspension of the same medication, and that wouldn’t take as long and he would do it asap. I know he had to also take the time to talk to the vet to get the dosing right. The next day when I picked up the script, he asked how my dog was doing. You really don’t get service like this anymore, anywhere. The person who rang me out was nice and the pharmacy itself is cute with random stuff. I’m thinking of moving my own prescriptions over here from cvs, eve

Always helpful. They can work with you to help find a way to afford your meds. They have some extra convenient store stuff, but they're definitely a pharmacy. They have patience and a considerate demeanor with customers. It's a small store, but really it's easier getting what you need there than trying to deal with the people at any corporate places like CVS or Price Chopper.
