It’s a 1/5 because I was never treated by anyone from this facility. I was only seen by Baptist Hospital staff. When I received my cost estimate from Baptist, it does read that you MIGHT get another bill. It doesn’t say from who, where, or provide any additional cost details. When I asked the Baptist billing/scheduling department if I would receive another, outside bill, I was told “You shouldn’t”, but here we are. They have all of my insurance information and could easily have seen this information. I explained that just because they put a single statement of “you might get another bill” doesn’t mean this isn’t Surprise Billing. I’m not sure how not disclosing this information (partners/affiliates for various services) on cost estimates is legal, because I had no idea that I was getting t
***update*** they requested I email them to assist me. It’s been a week with not even a reply. I’ve emailed all the emails I can find bc the person on the phone cannot escalate me further than their call center supervisor and that person can also do nothing for me accept assure me it’s handed. I have been trying to get an issue resolved with them for 13 months. I’ve called them over a dozen times to correct information they never make the corrections. Everything gets sent to the back office and the back office never does anything with it. They request things from me and then they don’t read them. I had no choice in using them because my son’s x-ray was transferred to them when he was born. But if you have a choice please save yourself the headache
I’m giving 1 star because I cannot give 0 stars. My wife has been trying to get an ONGOING issue resolved SINCE 2023 on behalf of her father with this shady company. He was hospitalized in 2023. After his hospitalization, he has received multiple expensive bills from this company. His insurance said that he’s only responsible for a portion, in which he has already paid. We clarified this via phone call and MBB radiology said they billed him incorrectly and to disregard the bill. Fast forward to June 2025, he received a text from a collections agency saying he owed a ridiculous amount of money from this radiology business. My father in law NEVER received a bill, or was notified from MBB radiology. After speaking with his insurance (united healthcare), they said that the patient does not
This association borderlines in my opinion and using harassment techniques. They were instructed on numerous occasions to take $33.33 per month until my bill was paid from my bank account. Instead, they chose to take it once and not continue to do so. Then, after a month, they would send me another bill saying that I was defaulting on my payments, and they were going to send it to collections, even though I set up a payment plan with them, told them when to take it out. They continued to do this. Until my bill was paid. I had to go in every month and do it myself, they would not do the payment plan. This is harassment in my opinion. I have an overwhelming dislike for the nickel-and-diming practices of the healthcare industry, which includes Mori Bean & Brooks PA. After I paid outright for a calcium scan, I received an additional $30 charge from them for the use of the machine. This has happened twice now. The other instance was related to a fractured wrist, and it seems to occur after all other payments have been made to the hospital, emergency room, and doctors. Then, out of nowhere, I get a $30 bill from Mori Bean & Brooks! It’s incredibly frustrating, and I almost feel like it’s a scam. So, there’s your review, Mori Bean & Brooks—you asked for it! Enjoy!
