Mayfair Manor

SNF and rehab placement post-hospitalization for my dad with Parkinson’s, dementia and heart failure… I went out of my way at the beginning of our placement to tour the facility, meet the staff, make his room as cozy as possible, and be present as much as I could. My first impressions were that it was clean, well laid out, and the staff was exceptional at engaging my family when we arrived. At the same time we came in, they had a gospel choir from a local church singing in the common room and it was wonderfully comforting. Chauncey Mason Burchfield (weekend/night admin) was exceptional in making us feel at home. We were stressed and exhausted from caring for my dad at the hospital and arriving at this new facility full of unknowns, but it felt like we had just come to our favorite aunti

would like to thank each and everyone of the carers , nurses , Thearpist, social workers, activity workers and reciptionst . The care you've given her from the 1st day she arrived has been exceptional. Kind, patient, understanding, and encouraging. Mayfair Manor is an excellent nursing facility that has provided exceptional rehabilitation services and person centered planning. They provide a well balanced meals and the facility is always clean and stocked. The staff are professional and shows how much they care for their patients/residents.

This place is a poor excuse for a Nursing home! I was afraid to leave My review until My Dad was out of there. apparently the staff likes to hold it against You for needing help to a bathroom or any other Human right. And the sad thing is He wouldn't have needed help if they would have put a toliet riser on His toliet. If you push the help button You can count on it taking them atleast 2 hours. Especially if you're room number is in the 200s! Because that means that Your last in line for everything. Over My dead body My Dad will ever go back there! Oh and that place smells awful they try to say it isn't them it's because there's 2 plants on either side but outside the place doesn't stink. Just the inside. Plus Air conditioning is out and been out for a long time.

The facility is very clean and well cared for. All the staff, from the CNA's to the Therapists are skilled and caring. My mother was there multiple times for physical/occupational therapy and she was cared for very well. Best facility she was ever in!
