I went to my first evaluation hopeful that pelvic floor pt could help me with recurring bladder pain and issues I’ve been having. The session consisted of mostly talking which I know is standard for an initial eval, followed up by maybe 10 mins of massage to my abdominal and hip muscles. The therapist then sent me a link of 3-4 very generic exercises to do with no other instruction and asked me if I wanted to come back in 3 weeks. I was baffled. I received no exercise instruction and not a single test or measure was done on any muscles. They also don’t do biofeedback or internal work.
