I saw Dr Welsh when my hardware infused elbow got injured and infected this spring. He recommended removing a superficial plate and screws, but I was hesitant to get the surgery done at the time because it was the beginning of my triathlon season as a professional triathlete. I decided to follow his advice after a bike accident further wounded the elbow. He did an excellent job with the surgery and it was a delicate procedure to remove screws that were embedded 12 years ago. The elbow recovered well enough for me to race an Ironman 7-8 weeks later, and 5 months later raced my best Ironman finish yet at Chattanooga (5th F pro) and with my best swim placement! I highly recommend Dr Welsh for any elbow-related procedures. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the necessary time to listen

Dr. Welsh is an excellent hand surgeon in the Clermont area . I Highly recommend him for treatment of injury involving the hands . He was extremely knowledgeable , proficient , accurate and caring throughout . All questions answered , Referral made with an OT directly after the surgery for prompt treatment of a finger fracture .

I had trigger fingers on both hands. In the whole scheme of orthopedic surgery, trigger fingers are probably not one of the most exciting conditions for a doctor to treat, but Dr. Welsh treated me like it was the most important situation he had ever treated - because to me it was! He was considerate, informative and proficient. The staff was the same way and so was the staff at the Orlando Health South Lake Hospital for Specialty Surgery, where I had my fingers operated on. It's like everyone around him rose to the level of care he set. To me that is very impressive and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Welsh and his team.

Everyone from the time I entered the facility to when I left was exceptional. I felt everyone cared about me and made me feel comfortable both mentally and physically. The procedure was explained and all questions were answered. Dr Welsh is phenomenal. He is what all doctors should inspire to be. He truly cares about you and develops trust by speaking confidently and in a caring manner. I couldn't be happier with the care provided.
