Massage Envy

Michael Barajas the manager, has poor customer service. I have had a membership over 12yrs with this location, their front desk made an error, and instead of correcting the error, he wanted to go back and forth being rude, asking me to pay again, when I have already paid. Then stated he will refund me, that does not make any sense. Adjust it in your computer, like you did before, when they messed up. He then stated he will pass me over to another manager because he hit a brick wall with me. Your workers messed up, not me. Therefore you fix it. Very Rude and Disrespectful and unprofessional. If you cant deal customers accordingly, then dont work there. If the error was on your end fix it, dont ask for payment that was made already. Do what's right.

I have been a paying/subscribing member and also buying their products for more then 8 years now. A dedicated member who always pays on time. These last four or so months have been bad for me medically and multiple deaths in the family. Now they wont reinstate my 20 plus credits and would have to start new. Maybe even pay the other moths I missed. This is a horrible location and horrible business to consider when you are hoping for a company that cares for its long term clients. Horrible.

Changing locations was not a problem, but why change locations and now customers have to pay for parking? I have asked questions and even some of the employees have to pay for parking. Not a SMART move at all!! Not only is parking terrible, but also management... The owner of this place deserves what ever happens because why put your employees through that? People have families and from what I heard the pay is not well at all. Yea, just show how much you care about your employees! If I were them I would look for something else. In addition, I no longer have my membership cause paying for that on top of parking is just foolish! Lastly the last time I came in there I asked a lady at the front desk what was wrong and she told me she was upset because it was past her lunch time. When I asked

I joined the River Forest location about 8 months ago, because of the convenient location. Now that they have moved to "No Park" (Oak Park) it is not convenient at all! Their new location is not an upgrade in any way! The rooms are ridiculously small and have poor lighting and the bathroom sink water never gets warm. If I was leaving a review soley based on the deep tissue massage therapists ChiChi, Jeffrey, Jennifer & Louie--it would be 5 stars!! But I am not at all happy with the new location where you have to pay for parking and walk a few blocks The manager was rude when I spoke to her, but the front desk people are nice.

Good morning. It took me until the day after to collect my thoughts, To write this review, I went to the new location of Massage Envy in Oak Park/ River Forest. The experience that I had at this location as a first time client of Massage Envy was horrible the massage therapist that I had was not the friendliest person she wasn’t very inviting. I feel as though I didn’t get what I paid for, first of all I’ve had many massages before and this was one of the worst. I paid for a full body massage however, there was so many points and parts of my body that were not touched. Not sure why. I can speculate, but I won’t put that in the atmosphere. I feel like I wasted my money and my time. nevertheless, the receptionist that booked my appointment was really nice.
