First class in my opinion. The whole staff are very nice and seem to care for their patients. I was very impressed with Dr. Florence Mason. The morning of my surgery Dr Florence explained and answered questions. Then said let’s pray before we start. Thank you Athens Orthopedic.

The entire staff was professional and kind, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout the process. My recovery is going smoothly, and the results exceeded my expectations. I’m extremely grateful and highly recommend Athens Orthopedics. Dr Florence also offers total knee and total hip surgeries and his patients have a very positive outcome.

Dr. Florence is amazing! The corrective surgery on my son’s foot turned out better than we hoped for and we loved the special prayer before the surgery - nice touch! ❤️

So I completely tore my Achilles tendon on 10 Dec 24, had surgery on 19 Dec 24. Wound became infected, wouldn't heal due to foreign body allergic reaction to the sutures used in my Achilles Tendon repair. Consequently, a debridement was performed in March. Post debridement, I was then sent to wound care where a suture was pulled out of the wound. Saw Dr. Florence, notified him of the suture removal, wound was partially healing but hadn't quite healed altogether. Around July, saw Dr. Florence and notified him that my wound wouldn't completely close and it became infected yet again. In August - September timeframe, he mentioned another surgery but he wasn't sure if it would close, or resolve the wound site. He stated, he'd be aggressive about removing offending suture but he couldn't guara

Dr. Florence is an excellent doctor. He makes sure he goes over all your options when it comes to needing a surgery and making sure that you understand exactly what is best. He did my leg and ankle surgery almost 9 years ago and will be doing an ankle replacement in October due to Arthritis and bone spurs setting up over the years, which he explained then would be a good possibility of it happening. I put my full trust in him. My Surgery has been done and Dr. Florence was amazing again. He even prayed with me before surgery. Dr. Florence is top notch at what he does.
