Mary Fiona Carroll

Terrible experience. Mary was cruel to me, insulted my appearance and made me feel less than human. She acted like I deserved my medical condition and offered no real solution. How is this person a doctor? She clearly hates people.

This woman is the absolute worst. She made me wait 30 minutes for my appointment and never apologized or explained why she was late. She comes prancing in with these weird shoes on - nothing a doctor would wear - at all. She didn’t even look at me - just at the computer screen. She maybe spent 5 minutes with me and then escorted me out the back door! Mary Carroll had to make up time for being so late - right? She is negligent and just bizarre. She doesn’t care about her patients. If I died in her office, she would just sweep me out with the trash. Don’t even bother with this so-called doctor. Mary Carroll is dangerous.

Dr Carroll has offered me both excellent and effective care for over 5 years for Graves disease (hyperthyroidism), and I highly recommend her for her knowledge, guidance, encouragement, and seeing me as a person to collaborate with in my own health. I wish I could clone her, and thus find her in my new Portland home area. Her gradual approach to treatment changes with testing and monitoring has allowed a reduction in my medication of over 90%. She has educated me on self-monitoring, and what she looks for in the blood test results; and since I have been curious to be informed, has pointed me to medical research on the pros and minimal side effects of long term low dosage medication usage. I don't understand why she deserves any less than 5 stars. She's intelligent, informative, and to the point. She took the time to explain my thyroid related condition and medications involved. She quickly scheduled for Lab work (same day), Ultrasound (2 days later) and a follow up visit to review the results with me before going forward. She is an excellent Dr. and has earned my confidence in every way. I highly recommend Dr. Carrol for anyone seeking help with Endocrinology.

Dr. Mary Carroll gets to the point, I was a bit imitated by her at first and get a little nervous when I go see her, but at times I needed compassion she was right there, the last few years I’ve lost three people in my life, so my anxiety is very high. She totally understood my situation and she was there for me so those people who say she’s the rudest doctor I think you need to get to know your doctor a little better and understand she just wants the best for you. I have diabetes and I’m not the easiest patient. I can be very frustrating, most the time not following what I should be doing, but she sits with me and explains things better than anybody and I am thankful for that.
