Mary-Ann Zappala, OD

I had a great experience with Dr. Zappala. She did a very thorough and comprehensive eye exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. I left feeling reassured and confident in my care.

I consider myself lucky to have finally found an optometrist / optician with the expert skills and professional patience to study my fairly complex visual problems and solve them. I highly recommend Mary-Ann Zappala, OD to anyone who needs glasses!

This was my first visit with Dr. Zappala. I was a little concerned about seeing an optometrist at a chain-type practice but she very quickly put me at ease. She’s been in practice at the location since before it was taken over by MyEyeDr so perhaps that is the reason I never felt like I was a number and there was no hard sell. Her exam was thorough and she made extra effort to obtain trial contacts which are apparently not readily available and on back order. I do suspect that the corporate side of the business pushes particular brands of contacts but that didn’t detract from the excellent experience in general. The support staff was also very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this location and Dr. Zappala in particular.

I walked in to change the appt I had made online and the man was on the telephone with a client/customer. He hung up the phone and bad mouthed the client. Have you ever met someone who says no to everything with sadistic glee? The doc was probably good, but this guy raised too many red flags.
