Marshall Pediatrics is hands down the best place I have ever taken my kids. Everyone here is so kind and helpful. When my daughter needed a referral, they actually called me, explained the process, told me what to expect, and even what to do if I didn’t hear back. That kind of follow up is rare and I appreciate it so much. The schedulers, nurses, techs, and referral staff are all awesome. I have had some pretty bad experiences at other offices in the past, so finding a place where people truly care feels like such a relief. Our main pediatrician is Dr. Overman and she is amazing. She listens, follows up, and really cares about my kids. They love her. We have also seen Dr. Renla, who is super thorough and always calls to explain what is going on. Super disappointing. We called seeking advice for a fever (first time parents) and instead of addressing our concerns and fears, we were lectured about the vaccination policy before any acknowledgment of the reason we were calling. We had an appointment with them several months ago and it was the same thing… pushing vaccines instead of having any type of informative conversation. So after the phone call last night, I could never recommend this place if you’re looking for any type of holistic care, whole body care and support.

Our family is not opposed to vaccines, we just expected someone at this office to be able to answer our questions thoughtfully and honestly. Instead, we were given completely false information and then asked not to come back even though we expressed we just want to do shots on a different a schedule. There was no argument or confrontation leading up to this, we just got a paper saying don’t come back after our last visit. They somehow care more about pushing vaccines than actually caring for our children’s needs, so don’t buy the narrative that they want the best for your kids.

I would recommend Marshall Pediatrics. Dr. Rendla, Dr. Christiansen, and Dr. Courtney have been a pleasure to work with. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients as well as the parents. They deliver information in a way that is easy to understand and offer resources when necessary. They make parents feel welcomed and connected. I love that they require immunizations if you want your child to be a patient here so that we know all of our children are safe! Keep up the great work guys.

All my visits are a positive interaction with all staff. The medical assistants are pleasant and are terrific when my difficult toddler (very understanding). At times the wait for doctor is long, but well worth it because Dr. Christensen is wonderful with my sons and answers all my questions. He gives great direction/ideas on handling whatever issue/problem I’m having with nutrition or behaviors. And when he is unavailable the Nurse Practioners and other Doctors are just as attentive and kind to my children. Marshall Pediatrics is an exceptional staff!
