Marshall Family Medicine - Putnam

Dr. Sydney Sheppard is absolutely the best!!!! I started seeing her at Cabell Huntington Hospital and followed her all the way to the Putnam office. She is so kind and personable. She explains things very clearly and is very easy to get along with. Definitely recommend if your looking for a new doctor!!!

My medical care provider Sarah Turner FNP is very professional and personable - she always takes time to listen and explains plan and expected outcomes clearly, then allows the patient to determine the best option for them. She has an excellent knowledge base and aids patients in understanding their diagnosis and possible treatment outcomes, and provides followup assistance as needed. I would definitely recommend Sarah as a medical provider.

My husband & I see Dr. McClanahan. His office rarely answers the phone, prescriptions not refilled, referrals never done. Would not recommend. We will definitely be switching PCPs. I’ve heard the NPs are better, but I think I’ll be going to an entirely different office.

Dr. Sara Turner is the best PCP in the Tri-State, IMHO. My family has been seen by her for several years now and we couldn’t ask for a better experience at the doctors office. Sara’s bedside manners are impeccable and she truly listens to your/our individual needs.
