After many frustrating experiences with "W," a national chain pharmacy located a few hundred yards from Marlboro Medical Arts Pharmacy, I decided to move all of my business to Marlboro Medical Arts. I could not be happier! Keyur, Mary, and the rest of the team treat me like family. I am always greeted promptly when I arrive and they are able to handle my business quickly and efficiently. Best of all, they never need to ask my name! Occasionally, I make a special request to get my meds shipped to me (I am a snowbird these days) and Keyur is always happy to ship my prescriptions to my other address. Tried this pharmacy after stopping CVS due to unreliability. Big mistake. I asked for a prescription my doctor had sent over. Instead of handling it professionally, the pharmacist decided to conduct a public interrogation in front of a growing line of customers. He loudly announced that my prescription had been filled at multiple locations over the past few months (shocking, I know, that in Marlboro of all places someone may actually have more than one residence). After I calmly explained this, he demanded my ID, photocopied it multiple times in full view of everyone, and informed me—again publicly—that this would be the “last time” he’d fill it because it was “putting him in a bad spot.” The highlight? We recently needed to get special pill packet cards for prescriptions that we had in plastic pill containers. The packet cards were required by the senior assisted living facility where we were bringing our mother. Our regular pharmacy, CVS, who we have been dealing with for many, many years was unable to help with this. Additionally, CVS could not even transfer the prescription records to another pharmacy to help facilitate this request, forcing us to go back to our mother's primary physician to get the necessary prescription information. As a result, we went to the Marlboro medical arts pharmacy to help with this request. The pharmacist did a great job of completing this for us in a very timely manner.
