We are very glad that we found Dr Thompson's practice. It's refreshing to be able to have educated scientifically based conversations with your orthodontist. Unfortunately our experience with some of the other orthodontists in the area have been very impersonal and orthodontists always seem to be in a rush and don't have time for you. This is not the case at this practice Dr Thompson and Marion are extremely professional friendly and easy to talk to. Our family felt at ease and comfortable at our first consultation visit. In fact we actually look forward to going here. The practice is very clean and well decorated. Dr Thompson and Marion are amazing! Very personable and laid back. Dr Thompson is awesome at what he does and is more than happy to answer any and all questions as well as just chat. We never ever feel rushed. They are a very small practice of just 2 so they are more like family!! I highly recommend Dr Thompson 🥰

When it comes to our children's care we have many options. So when I was looking for an orthodonist in Dripping Springs, I asked around starting with my friends and my favorite dentist. Dr. Thompson's name kept coming to the top. Both my daughter and son have had the pleasure of sitting in Dr. Thompson's chair. Marion his thoughtful and engergetic sidekick keeps us all straight and is always so understanding about our time and scheduling. I also love that Dr. Thompson and Marion always remember what's going on with my kiddos. Thank you for enhancing my monsters' smiles.

As if it weren't enough that both of my teenage (gorgeous) daughters got their teeth all straightened out by Dr Thompson... My own (23 year old) permanent retainer had finally deteriorated to the point of poking me and causing real discomfort. I had talked to 2 different dentists in Austin- both covered under my insurance- and both delineated a pathway to resolution to this problem that involved 3 appointments and around $250 to $750 out of pocket to resolve. (!!!) I'd had it with them, and in pain, called Dr Thompson, who'd treated my girls. He got me in the next day and fixed it in the SAME appointment for a fraction of the price I'd been quoted! Due to asking for a note for my child to miss school during his appointment, they are refusing treatment. He had an appointment on Monday, we were there on Wednesday. When I was told we don't give them early, there was no argument complete understanding and said that would be fine. So I get a call today and told that I'm asking for them to have an unethical practice. For a doctor's note on the day he had an appointment, that I was completely fine with getting on the day of the appointment. We've waited MONTHS to try to get this going, then refusing to treat over a misunderstanding of a doctor's note. Here I was feeling bad that I had done things, trying to comfort Marion, I'm floored. Then when asking for clarification they are requiring to ask all our questions in a written form?
