I met Punwattie Ramnaraine, FNP-BC, in hopes of finding a primary doctor that would pay attention to my concerns. She did that and more! She was very thorough and gave a lot of thought to what she asked & said. I don't believe I have ever had anyone take as much time with me as she did. I'm hoping that after I have all the follow-up test results, that she will be able to help me feel better!! I was very impressed with her patience and that of the clerical staff too. I had an appointment with Ahad Jiva, AJ for short, at Marion Physician West yesterday. The first impression I was struck with was the beautiful reception area and friendly front desk staff. I had barely found my seat when Cassandra, AJ’s medical assistant, called me back to begin my appointment. Cassandra was also kind and, with over 20 years of experience, very knowledgeable. Very soon after Cassandra got my vitals, I was introduced to AJ. AJ has an energetic, yet calming, demeanor. I did not feel rushed. We exchanged questions and answers and he formulated my initial care plan. I have been looking for local medical care could bring me the same ease that I have appreciated with Mayo over the years. I have a very good feeling that I may have found that now.

I have been with Marion Physicians for approximately 2 years. My primary visits are with Amreen Noorani, APRN, and Junaina Dominic, PA, and recently had visits with Alceha Thomas, APRN. Ms. Chandra is amazing, kind and does a fantastic job! They truly listen and take the time to understand your concerns, offering thoughtful and comprehensive care. I have found them to be very thorough, knowledgeable, and I love that they are not alarmists. Always wanting to make sure that you feel in control of your health.
