Margate Animal Hospital

I have used Margate animal hospital for long term boarding of my senior dog (3 weeks total), regular check ups and vaccinations, and dental surgery on my senior dog (15 years old!). The boarding experience was amazing, they took great care of my old lady with zero issues at all. The regular checkups are affordable and they never try to give you more than what you need. The dental surgery also went very well with no issues. I trust Margate animal hospital with all of my dogs 100%. They all love animals and have great attitudes. Dr. Berrios is one of the most professional, kind, thoughtful veterinarians I've ever had the pleasure of bringing my little baby CoolWhip to! We are only in FL for a short time and she had some problems with her anal glands. Dr Berrios quickly figured out her problem and got her back to great health! We appreciate him and his staff very much!! 🐾 ❤️ 🐾 ❤️

Dr. Berrios is an excellent doctor. I brought my cat Louie in for care when he stopped eating and was throwing up and had urinary issues. The staff was very caring even advised me to bring him in a day earlier because the issue could be serious. Dr. Berrios gave Louie excellent care and even got the urine sample for us when his bladder was empty. The staff and the doctor are very caring and I couldn’t be happier with the care. My cat is so much better hasn’t thrown up once after a few days of treatment. He’s healthier and gaining weight and way more playful than I’ve seen him. I’ve been going to Margate Animal Hospital for Over 12 years, I paid them over $1800 for them to tell me Due to her age, surgery was not an option. The doctor said that we can give her pain meds so she will not be in pain, order pain medicine from chewy.com and they rejected her meds. I called Margate Animal Hospital why they said they needed to see her before they would give her her prescription They know what is wrong with her. They cannot do nothing For her Why would they reject the meds?. Bottom line is they don’t care about your pet. It’s about the MONEY,I would not bring my next pet to this place. I would not recommend this place.

I was looking for a reliable vet for my puppy. My first experience at another vet was terrible. I kept looking and found Margate Animal Hospital. From the moment I arrived, they were very kind to me and my puppy. The doctor who treated me was very explicit with all his recommendations for my puppy. Now I feel very calm because I found the right doctor and vet for my baby. Thank you very much.
