I’ve already spent a lot of money in another dentist to fix a perfectly healthy tooth so they could get the price paid for un necessry root canal by an unqualified general dentist when I requested and pad for an endodontist to evaluate the tooth. They LIED and DUPED me to think she was that. Therefore she did not use the proper tools to evaluate as she simply did not have them do to her general DDS skills They charged me a speicalist's fee for this procedure which was padded and too high from a general dentist. I then ended up with an infection and they won't even refund the charge. It is dishonest to represent a DDS as a specialist. It was a miracle for me, she fixed other dentists mistakes that just abandoned me because they couldn’t correct their own mistakes. I scheduled an appointment at Dr. Margarita Degtyareva’s office for a simple dental filling. My appointment was at 5:00 PM, yet I was left waiting over an hour and twenty minutes with no explanation, no apology, and zero respect for my time. At check-in, the staff demanded my Social Security number and a photocopy of my driver’s license — which is completely unacceptable. This information is not legally required for a standard dental visit and raises serious concerns about data privacy. I agreed to present my ID for identification purposes, but I explicitly refused to allow any copying, which I had every right to do. Absolutely terrible experience — avoid this clinic at all costs. This place is not about helping patients — it’s about taking your money. They aggressively push unnecessary treatments and go out of their way to find out how much you earn by asking questions like what job you have, how much you make, and even what car you drive. It’s beyond unprofessional — it’s manipulative and disturbing. They referred me to a so-called “partner” surgeon in a different office, clearly working together to pressure patients into even more procedures they don’t need. And if you can’t afford it, they’ll quickly offer to sign you up for a high-interest credit card or loan. It’s all part of their money-grabbing scheme.
