Marathon Health, Toms River NJ - Lakehurst Rd.

I made an appointment for my teenage daughter as a new patient. My daughter and wife arrived early for said appointment to find the office closed locked without a note. We did not receive any notice message or correspondence before or after the appointment. While at the office my wife daughter and I attempted to make contact without success. 48 hours later we haven't been contacted.

The staff at the physical office is great, but MARATHON is a despicable corporation. If there is an unforeseen closure, COMMUNICATE THAT TO YOUR PATIENTS!!!! How are you gonna let people take off work, drive to your office to find locked doors, then have THEM call the customer service number to be informed of the closure. No communication on their end whatsoever. Absolutely ridiculous. Since making the switch from Everside to Marathon, everything has gone downhill. Rapidly.

It was my first time coming here And My appointment was at 8: 10 . there was a couple different buildings, but none of them said marathon Health so I drove up and down, looking for that and didn’t find it. So There was a building Where GPS said to go That said, Riverside health and Hackensack health systems. So I pulled in there to ask them where it was apparently marathon Health used to be Riverside health So I went in and explained the confusion and it’s now 825 I know I’m late And she tells me I’m way past the 15 minute late time because my appointment was at 8 So she doesn’t think she can see me. So I leave. I checked and my appointment was at 8:10. And no one had ever told me that I was looking for a Riverside health building So I Went back in and showed her the appointment ti

So happy to have found Dr. S & Arielle, they make a great team and I finally have a pcp I’m confident in and trust. Super clean office and minimal wait time. Highly recommend for state of nj employees
