Manner of Speaking came through for our family! From the start, Jenn Volpe saw our son as a person—a whole human being who had things to say. As opposed to a “patient” who had problems to fix. She evaluated him with care and a genuine interest in who he is. And then she made meaningful recommendations to help him show up in the world in a way that would allow him to be authentic, but also understood. Top notch! I found Jennifer Volpe, at Manner of Speaking during a crucial time when my daughter was in 2nd grade. Following a neuropsychological evaluation, it was recommended that she work with a speech and language therapist. I was fortunate to find Manner of Speaking, which was conveniently located just a short walk from our home. Eager to get my daughter started right away, Jenn was incredibly accommodating, working around my teaching schedule and the activities of my three kids to arrange sessions for us on Fridays at 5:30. I was immensely grateful for her flexibility. I also appreciated the prompt feedback after each session, the one-on-one meetings when necessary, and the progress reports for her teachers, and suggestions for school accommodations.
