I took my kitten here to be spayed, after spaying her they told me they need to keep her overnight to watch her. When I picked her up they told me she didn’t need a cone or antibiotics or sedatives or anything. I trusted their professional opinion and my kitten ended up ripping her incision open not even a couple days later. I took her back where I was told they would be keeping her for the weekend to keep an eye on her again. When I picked her up on Monday, I was once again told she didn’t need a cone, antibiotics, sedation, etc. but I was welcome to buy only a cone. Which I bought my own cone later. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Mandarin Veterinary Clinic! Everyone, the girls at the front desk, the vet techs and Drs. Jones and Benson themselves, shows genuine interest and concern for our four-legged family members. The staff always answers the phones promptly, the offices are clean, and the environment is very welcoming! My husband and I stumbled across the office when looking for a second opinion. We met with Dr. Jones and received a much more optimistic prognosis than we had previously been given. She really took time during this appointment to explain what was going on with our cat’s mouth and provided us with options for treatment. I brought my 2-year-old female French Bulldog in to be spayed on Tuesday. She was happy, healthy, full of life — and we trusted this clinic completely. We agreed to the bloodwork, followed every recommendation, and were told she might stay overnight for monitoring because that was “standard practice.” We never imagined anything could go wrong. We waited all day for an update that never came. When the phone finally rang, we were told — bluntly — that she didn’t survive. No warning. No buildup. Just the words every pet owner fears. Thank you so much to Dr. Jones and the entire team at mandarin vet clinic for all of your help in taking care of my hamster Benni. Benni was ~2yrs and 3mo old, which is quite old for a little roborovski hamster- Dr. Jones did everything she could to give Benni a fighting chance, coming up with tiny medicines for my tiny guy. Everyone was very gentle with him and patient. Even though he was very small, they all cared for him just the same as any animal in need. I miss my Benni dearly now, but he was in wonderful hands with Dr. Jones and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you all again so very much- it means everything to have a team that cares. I am happy to say I have found my forever vet! Dr. Jones is a walking angel and has the biggest heart for every animal she sees. My Penny has congestive heart failure & she was given a few months to live from the first vet I took her to. Then I took her to Dr. Jones, she adjusted her meds and it’s been over a year since then! I am so thankful for Dr. Jones & her entire team for all they do to make sure Penny is feeling as good as she possibly can with this horrible disease. Thank you for all you do, I am so grateful!
