MaineHealth - Brighton Campus

I went to Brighton Medical at 4pm December 26 for a Cat scan. I started politely asking questions about the procedure since I never had one. The unfriendly technician was visible annoyed with me , raised her voice and said in an angry tone "do you know where you are" . I said yes and asked my questions. She was cold as ice, put off with me and when it was over the other woman said sit up and escorted me out. The day after Christmas! No one in the waiting room. No Happy Holiday, have a nice evening , never a smile, just stern attitude. Keep in mind Im sick , why else would I need a CAT scan. Zero compassion zero kindness Contrast that to my visit to the ER at Maine med where the waiting room was full and yet every single person I dealt with starting with the the intake , escorts,

Was nervous after reading other reviews but my experience was nothing but easy and pleasant. Nurses and doctor were friendly and professional, and there was no wait.

Patient to staff ratio is horrendous, nurse bells ringing forever, rundown and dated rooms with very little privacy. Not the staffs fault but the administrations. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to attend this facility. It looks the same since my sister was born in the 1990s minus the smoking areas

I would like to thank the Staff at Brighton. I have gone twice in the past month as apposed to a quick care. Quick care told me it would be an hour and 1/2 for a visit. I was in and out for both appointments . I need a script and they sent me right to Bramhall to get it that night. I am so appreciative for the care I got there. Thank you to a wonderful staff.

Nurse hit a nerve when giving me an IV, causing me to immediately lose feeling in my entire arm. I asked if this was normal, nurse responded probably not I'll get someone to come help. Nobody came so I went into the hallway several times asking for someone to take the IV out. Nobody came until 30 minutes later after more trips into the hallway screaming to be discharged. I cursed and screamed on my way out of the hospital and I have this all documented in their medical report and recorded on my phone. I couldn't feel my arm for 24 hours. A week later and I still have an infection at the injection site. I was also served with a criminal harassment notice against ALL Maine Health facilities following this experience. I'd only recommend coming here if you want to be the next Luigi
