I was very impressed and please with the staff and facilities at Magnolia due to my father's death. They helped me figure things out during the last days of his life and made everything very easy. I thank them for making this difficult time less burdensome.

Having to lay a loved one to rest is stressful enough, but having to do it on Valentine's Day only added to the emotional impact of it. We are blessed to have a strong church family and a loving God to lean on to guide us through times like this, but you still worry about all the little things that can go wrong in planning and carrying out a service in such a short time frame. I have had many dealings with Magnolia Funeral Home as a local pastor. This year however, I had to use them for family not once, but twice. The first time was the loss of my wife's aunt and the staff was compassionate and very professional. The second time was the sudden and unexpected loss of our granddaughter, who was to Charlene and I, like a daughter. The entire staff, most especially Rhonda Wilbanks, was more than exceptional. They saw to every single detail with the utmost of care. They dealt with an emotionally charged family dynamic professionally and compassionately. Our mom’s passing is something we all dread all of our lives, and wonder how we will cope with the final details. By the grace of God and Magnolia Funeral Home, my mom is now laid to rest beside my dad and with parents, brothers & sister. Jim Calvary, Greg Woodruff, Rhonda, Bro Charlie and entire staff are heaven’s gift to Alcorn County and region. Greg was my director, he is very professional, caring, and comforting. Thank you all!
