I hadn’t been up there in about a year and a half so not sure how things are now BUT I can only speak on my experience and what I’ve seen, the six years my mother was there may she rest on I only had two complaints. She had dimentia and kidney disease since 2017 before she entered the nursing home which progressed and we later found out about because she didn’t tell us or she didn’t know. She had only one bed sore being there. I check her body a few weeks before she passed and I seen no sores that I’m aware of. Everyone has different reviews but for the most part things were cool and I’m grateful. 🫶🏾 Because I know two people personally whose loved ones were in facilities and treated badly and weren’t as sick as my mother. Ms. Jeane is a true treasure. She’s very sociable. I enjoy how she interact with the residents of all types of disabilities making them feel included in the current activities. She always makes sure to disinfect everything before and after any activities or events including when it’s time to eat. She’s easy to talk to with any concerns and helps extend to the proper channels of authority and personnel. She’s a lovely addition to Maefair’s short and long term residence in which I can’t say the same for others.

If I could give negative stars to this place I would. My dad had to enter this rehab facility after surgery and he couldn't walk. On the second floor, the nursing staff and the aides are horrible. They neglect your loved ones. On several occasions my dad needed to go to the bathroom and they made him wait and wait and I literally had to go to the nurses stations and raise holy hell for him to get tended to and then to top it off one day while my mom and sister were there one of the employees asked my mom and my sister for help in moving my dad. My mom stood up for herself and said that's not our job. You need to find another employee that can help you. I gave this 5 star because I was greeted with 2 ladies at the front desk with a warm welcome and beautiful smiles it made me feel very welcome, the place was very clean. My experience was very pleasant. Staff keep up the good works you never know who's watching. Thank you to the lady from the food department she also brought fan in to my friend that was blessing she was so helpful make sure the patient was comfortable..wow!! That spoke volumes.

I'm very pleased with the care my loved one receives at Maefair Center. I also love the fact Maefair always has activities for the residents to take part in. As we know it's not an easy situation that our loved ones are in a rehabilitation facility so the fact that they keep them active as much as possible is greatly appreciated by both the resident and the family. And I have gone at different times and days and it's always a pleasant experience overall. And if I do have to address anything it's taken seriously and addressed right away. So thank to the whole staff, especially the nurses and the CNAs.
