M Health Fairview Walk-in Clinic - Maplewood

Having just moved to the area from Houston I chose this urgent care because it was close to my house. I don’t know why people are giving it a bad review because let me tell you working in healthcare myself this is the BEST urgent care facility I have ever been to in my life in any state I’ve ever worked in. The experience I had today was outstanding. I didn’t wait but maybe 10 minutes they opened at 10 AM but they start taking people in at 9:45 and the concierge check in experience with Patti was great - she was kind and empathetic and fun to deal with and when your sick you need that type of person to make it better. I have visited the Maplewood Urgent Care three times. Each time I did the schedule ahead and it was great! I had very minimal wait and the providers I saw were great each time. Check in at front desk was very efficient and staff helpful and friendly. The CMAs were friendly and efficient as well! Great experience all around.

Got in at 5:15pm brought to a room at 7:30pm waited for a doctor for an additional hour. A student came in and offered a path of treatment. I advocated for different care as it's been an ongoing issue. Student rolled her eyes and left. Worst place for wait and hospitality.

Arrived at 6:15, when they close at 8:00, and were turned away because they reached capacity, eventhough there were only 3 people in the waiting room. They should take people until their posted closings time. Really bad experience.

Arrived at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, to find this "WE ARE AT CAPACITY" sign taped to the locked front doors. No other patients were present in the waiting area. It's unclear to me why a medical facility would advertise on its website and Google listing that it's open until 8:00 p.m., when it's actually closed with no patients at 7:15 p.m. That sounds like understaffing and/or mismanagement. There was no suggestion or direction to head to another urgent care facility that IS open. Fairview, are you capable of a response?
