M Health Fairview Sports Medicine Same Day Access Clinic - Fulton

I have seen Dr. Patrick John Morris for both my knee and now frozen shoulder. He explains things well, is highly personable and has been conservative in treatment which I really appreciate. I am a visual person so it greatly helped when he went over my x rays with me and explained the findings visually. He also did a great job of summerizing the current state of research and was open about what has worked, what seemed promising and what doesn't work for Frozen Shoulder. I was fairly nervous and scared about them and he helped me feel better about the results. I would highly recommend him and trust him with my care.

Over all, a decent hospital. To big for my liking. Doctors are so " Specialized " that they don't always see the big picture. Only their area of expertise. You pay for parking. The Front door can get gridlocked with people getting picked up and dropped off. The Art Work in the Hospital is beautiful. Take a tour while you're watching for someone having surgery.

I had my 5th back surgery performed by Dr Polly who, unfortunately just retired from this facility. He was very professional and empathetic to my problems. All of the staff that I have seen, worked with at this facility are very professional. I highly recommend the orthopedic department at this facility! The Mayo Clinic spine surgery department declined to even look at my case/ problem let alone attempt to fix or help me! Kudos to all ortho staff at this facility. Thank you!

This is for M Health Fairview Orthopedic, part of the sports medicine clinic. I saw Aaron D Corfield after a six month wait while he was on 'sabbatical'. I had a pain issue with my big toes, and after looking at xrays was told the joints had very little or no cartilage and there were bone spurs. He told me if the pain got to be too much I could have surgery to fuse the bones together. That was it. I asked about toe joint replacement and he told me that wasn't done. I kept insisting that there must be such a thing as toe joint replacement and he kept telling me there wasn't. He was very sharp and curt throughout the appointment with one word answers, the word mainly being 'no'. Of course, there is such a thing as big two joint replacement. Not impressed with anything about this clinic. We have a special case and was referred to a particular surgeon. The check in stations were rolling carts, almost like the facility forgot or didn't have a budget for desks. It felt very unwelcoming and like we were just being led in like castle. When we finally got called into our appointment, 30 minutes late, the sharps container was on the floor, I'm sure this is an OSHA violation. There were bolts and screws on the medical cart in the room, I had my toddler with me and had to be extremely aware of him in an environment that should be safe. The scheduling department never called us, we had to call them and the communication has been very poor. The only reason I gave this a 2 star rating was because the surgeon was great. I wish I had ano
