Doctors are very nice and knowledgeable but the office staff is a different story. I have been waiting over a week for a call back and also tried calling them to reschedule a procedure and an appointment. No one EVER answers the phone and a person's health is important so this needs to be addressed. There isn't much luck with the portal either because you get the same result which is nothing.

Nobody answers the phone and I have been waiting 3 days for a call back. I trust my primary care doctor who gave me this referral but I can't find a way to get an appointment. I'm not sure where to go but this seems like a dead end. Is this part of the Jefferson take over?

The doctors are nice and helpful. But it'd be extra nice if you didn't have to jump thru hoops to get them to answer the phone or call you back. I have serious health issues that sometimes cant wait. Ive had to go directly to the ER several times because I couldn't get ahold of anyone at the office to see what should be done. It's frustrating. But once you're in the office or get a call back (if you do) they're all super nice. So. Idk its just annoying.

I too have a difficult time understanding the negative reviews. I have been seeing my doctor here for a while. I have a very unusual issue that previous GI doctors could not diagnose. But Dr. Shnitster spent a great deal of time with me, reviewed ALL of my history, and ordered several test to try and help me. Then the Nurse practitioner sat with me and explained details regarding potential ways to treat it. They spent a lot of time with me. I do think their app is not the best, I tried to cancel an appointment through it and it didn't work. But the people are great.

I went there around 2014 /2015. I had the most horrible experience from the staff to the doctors. They treated me like a third world citizen. I complained about my stomach area. The doctor prescribed something for my stomach because they said I had irritable bowel syndrome and later said I had a rolling hernia. The medicine didn't work and my stomach was still hurting (by now this was over a year). The staff and the doctor told me that it was my imagination, I was making it up and I must not be taking my medication properly. The pain persisted and they finally did a test to check the gallbladder and result was that my gallbladder was bad which it had to be removed. Well the doctor tells me he can remove the gallbladder and fix the hernia at the same time (come to find out that he couldn't
