As always, Dr. Burke was fantastic. Dr. Burke has been our primary vet for the past 20 years.

I adore Thoreau Vet Hospital. My fur babies are treated like family - not just patients. The staff is wonderful, especially Dr. Burke, Mary, and Sarah. They actually take the time to listen to pet owners and address all questions and concerns. I love the fact that Dr. Burke is open to using alternative therapies to truly help animals from all angles.

My cat was having trouble peeing and was completely blocked. After visiting two different hospitals and some asking for 1k a night , I’m glad that Thoreau Vet was able to fit us in and completely help my cat healed. The vet was attentive and communicated throughout and stayed within a reasonable budget. Super happy that we found them. Thanks Dr. Burke and staff

Dr. Burke and the staff at Thoreau not only have the expertise to care for animals, they have empathy and compassion for pet owners, too. They offer practical suggestions for options like insurance, dental care and general well-being of for my dog.

Thank You everyone for taking care of our fur family. Dr V and Stacie are so compassionate and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t trust our fur family with anyone else. Also thanks to Karen! She always gets us in ASAP! We love all of you!
