Lumina Wellness Physical Therapy & Total Spinal Fitness

My experience at Lumina Wellness Physical Therapy and Total Spinal Fitness has been absolutely excellent. I’m deeply grateful to Brian and his team—their support during my bilateral hip replacement recovery means more than these words can express. They supported my healing with their knowledgeable, compassionate, and holistic approach to physical therapy. I looked forward to going to this peaceful space twice a week for over two months, which included manual PT sessions, the Bowen Method, and use of the amazing equipment (like the spinal decompression chair!). This has been a tender time as my new hips and surrounding muscles continue healing. Each visit left me feeling physically stronger, more hopeful, and deeply cared for. Brian is a true healer–– thank you so much, Lumina Wellness!

I was 11 weeks post THR and pain free for first time in 5 years until I came here. I was put on a machine and now have an SERIOUS injury. Cant walk, can’t drive and maybe set back 14 weeks or more. Contraindications for this machine are no recent surgery patients and ask the surgeon first and that did not happen!!! Then after I informed him of the injury I got ZERO empathy nor concern. Just mfg marketing BS speed back at me. This is sheer NEGLIGENCE and I have also spoken to the mfg who confirmed I should not have been put on the machine unless asked surgeon first and no one should be on it for 10 min to start. I am a mechanical engineer and very detailed and all of this was sheer negligence and now I am suffering the consequences , physically and financially and emotionally.

Been seeing Brian off and on for several years for various overuse injuries. I always appreciate him taking the simplest, most direct approach to solving the issue, without recommending unnecessary visits. He’ll include options for me to do at home to promote healing, as well as discuss ways to potentially help prevent the injury from happening again. In years past I’ve been to other physical therapists….but Brian is by far the most knowledgeable and caring!! Thanks for all your help Brian🌟

After multiple attempts over the course of two years to find a PT who truly understood how to heal a grade 2 torn hamstring, I was lucky enough to find Brian at Lumina Wellness. He explains your injury so you can understand and why he is using modalities he chooses to help you heal. Although dry needling may seem scary, it was the answer to finally heal me! I'm back to running pain free. Brian is knowledgeable, competent and a compassionate professional whom I highly recommend!
