Low Country Rheumatology

I still like this office but I haven't been back for 2 years. My PA who works with DR Holdgate just constantly told me to come back in 4 months I have been battling widespread pain all over my body for almost a decade. I've only seen DR holdgate once the entire time I've been a patient there. I never got diagnosed. I have a virtual rhuem now but it's not in person and they sent me for an ultrasound and got diagnosed with RA after the results. Although with the medication I'm on and infusions aren't working completely I'm still constantly in pain that it's ruining my life and the ability to work a whole week without going home or calling out. I do feel like it's more than just RA. Listen more to your patients.

My first time visit with Dr. Jennifer Murphy was so pleasant and informative. She made both me and my daughter (accompanying me), feel like she knew us personally and made sure we understood the language and/or got her message(s). At 75 years old, I didn't know what to expect but found out she had already done some research on my file from Dr. Mike Tyler (my referrer), so it wasn't a whole lot more she needed from me beyond my eating habits, diet and day-to-day activities to determine that my numbers were in the range where she felt I was considered to be in good health. She had also had the chance to review recent tests and bloodwork from the hospital. Dr. Murphy said that I did not need a follow-up unless I start having problems with mainly my hips (especially from a fall). I enjoy

My first appointment with Dr Edgerton was very thorough. He patiently listened to me as I gave him as much history as possible. Not many doctors really listen, but he did and asked questions. I could tell he is very caring and will get me on the right path.

I was so pleased with Low Country Rheumatology. The staff were so friendly and supportive. I was so impressed with Dr. Murphy. She made me feel so comfortable. She did an excellent work up on my condition and explained everything to me. She did bloodwork and her team was amazing. Just waiting for my lab results and follow up visit.
