I had a scheduled assessment to complete with a Dr.Martha Mason via zoom for a general mental health assessment. WORST experience ever. This “health care professional” was everything but professional, more like Condescending and berating. She actually hung up on me after answering the one question I had for her, not surprisingly leaving the conversation without allowing me to follow up. She just ended the call, without regard to anything else I may have had to say. On top of that, she took 3 weeks to return my results back, holding up a very important process. I’m Unsure of what would prompt such a long turn around other than a gross lack of diligence and consideration for her patients. I was referred to Loving Helping Hands INC. through dfcs to participate in counseling, due to being a victim of battery. I was in an unhealthy, abusive relationship, that lead me here. At first I looked at this as just something to hurry up and do to fulfill my obligation, but to my unexpected and happy surprise, I ended up gaining a lot from this program. I would like to compliment my therapist Jessica F. for doing a great job making me feel secure enough to really express myself openly, while helping me heal, and educate me. I am actually very thankful now that I was given the opportunity to seek counseling.
