I’ve been seeing Amanda at Lotus Root Physical Therapy periodically over the years for various challenges that come with aging, and she continues to be the most effective PT I’ve ever worked with. Her myofascial release work has been transformative for me. One of my biggest issues was persistent back pain, and not only did Amanda treat it successfully, she also gave me simple, effective exercises that I still use to stay mobile and pain‑free long term. What sets Amanda apart is her ability to quickly understand what’s going on in my body and address the root cause rather than just the symptoms. She brings a rare combination of deep expertise, intuition, and genuine care. I always feel seen as a whole person—not just another appointment on a schedule. After experiences with other PTs who f

Amanda is outstanding, her services are worth every cent, and her patient care is top-tier! She truly listens to understand, provides thorough training and judgement-free care in-clinic, and skillfully adapts at-home exercises to address patient barriers. Before starting treatment with her, I was having pain to such an extent that it was impacting my work. I left my first appointment feeling a marked improvement. By my second appointment, and following the simple adjustments she'd recommended, the issues that had initially brought me in had resolved! I enjoy every appointment I have with her and continue to see her for pain and mobility issues that have plagued me for years. Having visited countless other physical therapists through the years, I'd thought these were issues that I just need

Amanda is the most knowledgeable therapist I have met in a lot of years of PT. She has a way of knowing exactly what I need. Amanda gives me exercises that meet me where I’m at and adjusts as needed. I started seeing her to prepare for two huge surgeries for colon cancer. I continued to see her through the recovery process. Now she is helping me with shoulder strengthening to avoid surgery. Her empathic abilities and knowledge of MFR can’t be beat.

After dealing with mysterious chronic issues for 6 months and not getting anything from the western medical system in terms of diagnosis or treatment, Amanda was instantly able to pinpoint my problem, which stemmed from a disc issue. She was the only one on my care team who performed a neurological exam, which was instrumental in my diagnosis. In a few short sessions, she was able to cure some serious numbness I was experiencing and also was able to completely cure my panic attacks. I am extremely grateful for her wisdom and expertise! Amanda skillfully deals with the mess of the insurance industry as it is today, ensuring you get the covered care you need. She assesses everything holistically, which means she will find things that many doctors today will pass over completely. She is als

Amanda is an extremely gifted practitioner. Skilled, kind, empathetic. Her previous experience coupled with her natural intuition and Myofascial Release Technique certification is a special combination. I have been seeing her since 2018. I had a fall and low back injury in 2016 and tried many other things with no success. After 2 years I was still having nerve pain down my left leg consistently. I got relief during the first treatment! Since then I have had other complicated health issues arise, including a MS diagnosis. It's also become clear that I likely have a hypermobility syndrome or EDS that has never been diagnosed. In fact, although I have a neurological diagnosis, Amanda is the only practitioner who's actually given me a complete neuro exam! Even my neurologist has only done a
