Dr. Knighton and his professional staff are amazingly caring and knowledgeable. From the front desk to the exam room, you and your pet know you are in safe and compassionate hands. My dog Phoebe has gone there several times for different problems because she is a senior Dr. Knighton has always been caring and taking the time to address the issues The latest one was this gaping open so she had on the side of her body He took the time to shave the area And clean it up And comforted me with the fact that If I got a T-shirt or something, it would help with her accessing that area instead of always having to give her a head cone all the time. It worked!! She is happier and comfortable while that sore healed up within a couple days. I’m grateful for this office because it is hard

The front end is great! The doctor, Richard Knighten explained in great detail our cats problems. We also had our dogs nails trimmed just the correct lengths. Happy New Year to Los Osos Pet Hospital.

I have had dogs my whole life so I am not new to vet services. This place is by far the best service from the front desk to the assistant to Dr Knighton. I feel very confident with them to care for my fur baby

Had to take our puppy in after he got stepped on and punctured a lung. They were able to get him in immediately and get the x-rays done. The staff is friendly and seem to all enjoy what they are doing. They got our puppy all healed up quick and took excellent care of him. 2 months later we had him neutered and microchipped here as well. They did such a good job our puppy only seemed to be sore the first evening, he was practically back to normal the next morning. Good to have quality trustworthy care right down the street.

We switched from another Vet to obtain care for both our cat and dog. The staff are very friendly and the care given to our pets has been excellent.
