Lori A. Facktor, OD

My recent visit with Lori A. Facktor was deeply unsettling. I brought my 8-year-old son, who had broken his glasses the previous day and was struggling to see, along with my 2-year-old daughter, for his eye checkup. While waiting, Dr. Facktor asked us to open the door without any greeting and gave us a disapproving look. During the 15-20 minute examination, I kept my daughter seated until the end when I allowed her to stand briefly to stretch. Upon concluding, Dr. Facktor opened the door with a negative attitude. I was stunned as never had a doctor just open the door without words and not ask if anyone has questions. Concerned about my son's signs of strabismus—a condition I had at his age—I asked, "May I ask you a question?" She responded harshly, accusing my son of "coughing like a dog

I asked her about some symptoms during a routine exam and she curtly told me to make a separate appt for that. Rude ill mannered money obsessed unprofessional woman.

Unkind, unpleasant, unprofessional.
