Longwood Family Dentistry

This is a great office! My family and I have been seeing the dentists and hygienists at Longwood Family Dentistry for a few years now, since our dental insurance changed. We visit every 6 months for regular cleanings. Everyone there is always friendly and welcoming. The hygienists are gentle but thorough. The doctors seem knowledgeable and never rushed. The whole office is usually running on time, which I appreciate. Seems very efficient. This past week I was there for my cleaning AND my yearly exam by the dentist + xrays. I was all done and back in my car in under 30 minutes. Quick and easy. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! Been going there for years. If you have an appointment, all good. One thing - they are so booked up - that it’s tough to even get the next cleaning scheduled. When I tried for my next cleaning, their 1st available was 7 months later. And don’t cancel because when my wife did because of work - the next available was another 6 months wait for just a cleaning. Which meant waiting a year for a cleaning. So suggestion is to leave a few spots open for those regulars that have been going there for years. Or put a note in the record and call when an opening comes up for those that had to change… Very friendly and nice staff and great facility!

After calling with a Dental emergency I was able to be seen right away and my broken tooth fixed the same day! Excellent customer service and a very inviting atmosphere. Dr. Dennis and staff are amazing!

Absolute incompetence. They will tell you something is covered by your insurance and then charge you on the day of, if you don't have it they tell you to reschedule wasting your time. No care for other people's time, truly compassionate people who aren't doing shady practices. Especially since they're charging us, then our insurance is saying we have to pay extra on top of that. Naturally the front desk people didn't care because it doesn't effect them when someone has to call out of work and be surprised with a sudden fee.

I may of jumped the gun on my initial review. I’ll just lay out my experience. The staff here are always super friendly and very nice. Never a problem with customer service. I needed a crown and my temporary did fall off twice. After 5 months my permanent crown fell off. They suggested I need a night guard and grinding my teeth may of really loosened the cement which they’re not the first dentist to recommend a night guard so I decided to proceed. I do appreciate they’re upfront about their pricing and make sure I understand it all before I sign and commit to the work. While crowns are usually permanent I feel better informed knowing my teeth grinding at night may be the issue and am happy they offered a solution.
