While Dr. Coletta was very informative, his office staff is impossible and extremely nasty. I had an appointment in April and was told I would be put on the list for a sleep study machine. The staff told me they didn’t know how long it would take. I called back in May only to find out I was never put on the list. Supposedly, they were going to put me on the list to where I should have been if they put me on initially. It is now mid- July, again I have heard nothing and am now meeting with a different doctor. Very irritating to have my time wasted and to deal with a staff that has such a cavalier attitude like they are doing me a favor.

The WORST experience I have ever had with office staff. The initial visit was great and Dr. Coletta was very informative. He gave me hope that after I started treatment it would make me feel better from my "severe sleep apnea". It has been over 4 weeks since my follow up visit, no one has contacted me about ordering the mask, I have called both the Hempstead and Rockville Centre offices repeatedly. Almost embarrassed as to how many times I've tried calling the office for answers. One answer I got as to why no one has returned my calls, "we are very busy here". Every time I call, they advise me to speak to Kate, but Kate has never answered or returned my many calls. My pharmacy has been waiting for a pre-authorization form that was supposed to be sent over from the doctor's office. No

2nd EDITED REVIEW It is now with 12/16 no call back was received. I called the office this morning and spoke with Kate. Absolutely zero empathy for the situation. Gave me a number to call to follow up because apparently “they don’t do that.” My husband has had a CPAP machine for 3 years and NEVER had to deal with this run around at his office. I regret not going there initially. EDITED REVIEW It is now 12/13 and I’m still without a CPAP machine after Dr.Megally called me on 11/7 to let me know I would have one in 2 weeks. I called YET AGAIN on 12/11 and asked to speak with an office manager or a doctor. My request was denied and I was told someone would call me back in a half hour. Well it’s now over 2 days and I have not heard back from anyone and I still won’t for at least anoth

Today was my first visit to Long Island Pulmonary and Sleep. The office was a busy office, and I waited 45 minutes for my appointment, but it was worth the wait. I met with Dr. Coletta and I explained my concerns and why I was there. After answering the questions Dr. Coletta had, he had an immediate plan of action to get me on the road to recovery. Dr. Coletta possesses a congenial personality, which made me feel at ease. I will follow up with him in a few weeks. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Coletta and his staff for your health needs.
