First time at this location for a doctor I have been seeing for a little while now. I absolutely love Dr. Fu but I sat in an exam room for an hour and 40 minutes without being seen. I ended up leaving & getting my copay refunded.

So they lost my husbands blood work. He got it done from and outside lab from the practice because they couldn't get his blood. When we called and asked about it, they couldn't find it and made US track it down. We did and eventually got the results. I thought maybe it was just a one time mistake, but did not like how my husband and I had to do the dirty work for them. Next time when I got blood work done, they lost it again. They couldn't get my blood (I don't know how, I literally get told by every person who has taken my blood how easy my veins are), so I had to go to the lab next door. The woman who took my blood at the lab (easily, even after the person at the office blew my veins) said that they have been sending people over a lot to the lab because they can't get blood draws on peo

Dr Sommer is the newest arrival to Long Island Medical Arts. His bedside manner & overall professionalism is a breathe of fresh air. If you want to be treated like a human being not a insurance ticket then no need to look any further. As like many Drs offices Dr Sommee is extremely strict about perscribing medications that one may not need so with that said if your looking for a percription to get filled that's not in anyway needed your not going to get anything that's considered a masking medication . Horrible place. Uncaring. Came in sick was late 5 minutes. Wouldn't not see us because it was last appt and they wanted to leave. But you can make spot and wait 1/2 hour. This is unprofessional uncaring

Horrible!!!!!! Beware if you are sick don't try to be and don't come here they make you wait HOURS!!!! And they like to laugh behind your back VERY UNPROFFESIONAL !!!
