Loma Linda University Children’s Health - Children’s Emergency Room

I am extremely disappointed with our recent experience at this children’s emergency room. We brought our grandchild in with serious concerns, and we did not feel heard or taken seriously. The level of attentiveness and urgency we expected simply was not there. As a caregiver, it is terrifying to feel dismissed when a child is not well. Communication lacked clarity, and we left feeling more anxious than reassured. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in patient care, compassion, and responsiveness. Families deserve to feel supported, especially in emergency situations.

I brought my 3 week old baby because there was blood in her stool we have currently been here for 3 hours and we still have not been seen we are waiting outside in the cold because there are no seats inside and even if there was there are a bunch of sick people and we are expected to have a baby in the waiting room whos immune system is still maturing. I went up to ask how much longer and was told there are still 12 people ahead of her that I can go another hospital or wait. This review is my proof that we where outside waiting in the cold if my baby catches something more severe I will definitely use this review as proof that this hospital does not care about the well being of it patients.

The most racist hospital ever. The staffs at the emergency do not care for you or treat your kids. Will be filing a male practice for this place. Immediate shut down or fire all of the staffs there. There were children of color who waited a very long time before being seen. Then after 5 minutes or less I've seen them walk out. One child had a huge cut and was bleeding heavily and they simply took in a white child in before the colored child who was waiting and crying for hours. It is so heartbreaking how racist they are here!!! At this day and age you would think racism has died a long time ago. Unfortunately, this is happening here. And at a children's hospital????

My husband took our daughter there last night because she suddenly got extremely dizzy, one eye was moving slower than the other while following my finger, saying they looked like they were looking different ways, vomiting, severe head pain that wasn’t getting better with medicine… after waiting HOURS they put her down as having headache from a concussion she was diagnosed with over a month ago from a car accident she was in. Despite this being ALL NEW symptoms starting suddenly. She was fine after school and within hours it started. They didn’t run a single test on her no ct no mri. And then stated they were concerned with appendicitis cause she was wincing from pain when touching her stomach but said there’s no test for it just wait and see… yet when my son had suspected appendicitis he

My son had a concussion. Everyone from the staff in the front to all the doctors , nurses , radiology... Everyone was so caring , thorough, and explained everything to myself as well as my 8 yr old . They made him feel comfortable which was hard to do with such pain in his head . There was a very special lady and I wish I knew her name ! She came in to talk to him about what they would be doing . She even had a tablet and showed him what the CT machine looked like and he asked what the sound it made was and she looked it up for him ( because sound and lights are very upsetting to him with this concussion. ) He did good during the testing but he was very upset when we got back to the room because of the lights and sounds . I tried to comfort him ... But he wanted her to talk to . So I saw
