First, I have no problem with the dentist. She's been good every visit. However, the office seems to have scheduling/admin issues. I made an appointment, used their text system to confirm my appointment a couple days before, received a confirmation text two hours before my appointment, then arrived and found the office all locked up. I called and was told that they had tried to call me that morning to say the doctor would be out. I had missed a call from an unknown number that I can only assume was the call they were referring to. However, they did not leave a message or attempt to call a second time. The text reminder occurred after the missed call, so that system wasn't updated either. They were able to reschedule me, but this is not the first time I have had trouble in this vein. Given

I visited the Dania office for a root canal consultation with Dr.Gerena. I was so scared because of the many offices that i visited prior to choosing this dental office. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The assistant was nice and gentle during my entire procedure and after. When the front desk assistant presented me with my treatment plan she was very thorough in explaining it to me. She addressed all of my concerns prior to agreeing & accepting my treatment plan. I can say throughout my entire root canal process i am very pleased with the service i was provided and the environment of this office.

I needed a filling, got an appointment the same day and it was done in 15 minutes. Their price is fair, they don't try to add unnecessary procedures to bill you more, like may other dentists do. An honest dentist is as difficult to find as an honest mechanic. I am glad I found them.

My Insurance company had me to contact this dentist office for an emergency appointment. The line was busy so it transferred me to another office, I explained my issue to the lady at the other office she was very nice and caring. Instructed me to head over to the Dania Beach location right away and she would let them know. Well, when I arrived this lady was sitting slumped over and just staring at me with the evil eye. I explained to her my situation and with out care she said nope you were supposed to be here at 11Am I responded with no , I'm a walk in emergency She again with rudeness you were supposed to be here at 11 AM I can make you an appointment for another date. I simply said no thanks and walked away This lady is rude and very disrespectful don't go there stay away!

2/4/2020 I was going to that dental clinic for already 2 years to clean my teeth 4 times a year when only 2 weeks ago Dr. Lobaina checked the x rays upon my request and found out that I would need to consult a root canal for one teeth and he could perform some deep cleaning on another my tooth. None of the hygienists told me that my gums needed treatment and their condition was very poor. They work as robots and limit themselves to clean patients' teeth without any additional suggestions/comments on their mouths. Wrong! Today, I was badly surprised to hear from other dental clinic that my gums are in a very poor condition. I was thinking that I was on the right track cleaning my teeth so regularly but not. I won't recommend that clinic to new patients.
