I have always had a great experience here, for myself and my kids / family. Today I had the worst experience from the nurse practitioner Celeste. Terrible bedside manner. She was rude short, didnt listen to anything I had to say about my symptoms and reason I came in. She had a reason I was incorrect before even coming all the way in the room. After my labs and scan, she told me I was wrong again, said my labs were great, then walked out. No explanation, no follow up, nothing. Treated me like I was drug chasing even after refusing any meds multiple times. To top it off, I just got home (still in pain) and my labs appeared in MyChart and there were MULTIPLE results that came back abnormal and with results that corroborate my thoughts as well. Do yourself a favor and skip taking your kid(s) here whatever it is just wait and take them to their pediatrician in the morning. My son has a heart condition and tested positive for strep tonight (as i suspected and wanted to start an antibiotic asap). Which btw the NP we saw clearly didn't look at my childs chart before coming into the room bc had she done so she would of never suggested to write him BROM FED or for me to get him nyquil/dayquil to help with this "viral stuff" turned out wasn't viral. I've never had a doc or np come talk to us before they got test results back. Anyways i was told to go to the 24 hr cvs for his antibiotic so I did. This was the best urgent care visit I have ever had, and I have had many. The nurses and providers I saw were so caring and professional. The PA, Karen C Slotter, was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to give me information that could be helpful. The center is meticulously clean. On the particular evening I went, I had no wait whatsoever. Great experience considering I was feeling so awful.

Staff was amazing from reception to visit to checkout! Stellar customer service….until I show up at 0750am the following morning to drop off ordered lab work. Girls at the desk looked at me and continued to wipe the counters while “slicing throat” as a gesture that they aren’t open yet! I’m aware. All I wanted to do was drop off lab work that was ordered yesterday considering I worked last night and the night before with only 2 hours of sleep between my shifts!! I think that is very inconsiderate for them NOT TO APPROACH DOOR and try to find out why I would be standing in the cold rain with a biohazard bag in my hand!! If it weren’t for their attitudes and blatant disrespect I’d give them 5 STARS

Best urgent care office I’ve ever visited! They were friendly, thorough, and timely with check in and even testing. The lobby and rooms were clean and sanitized. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to be seen quickly and don’t want to visit the ER. Although I came in feeling bad I left with a smile on my face from such great care and service. Thanks Saluda Pointe for such a great visit.
