Laura was a pleasure to work with! My son was genuinely excited to see her for each session. Laura was punctual and brought excellent props her with to keep each session engaging and fun. She was super easy to work with from a scheduling and billing perspective. I would definitely recommend her!!

Laura was patient, engaging, and skilled at creating a playful, supportive environment that keeps little ones motivated and comfortable. After working with our 2 year old, family started to comment on how much clearer his speech was. He would even walk around the house making the sounds he worked on during his sessions. I would highly recommend Laura to any family.

Where to start?! We worked with Laura for 8 months for our son's speech therapy (we moved from the city and are so devastated we couldn't bring her with). Laura is exceptional in every way- she is a true expert in language AND child development, connected with our son on a personal level and adapted to his needs as they changed, and was so crucial in helping us as parents learn the skills that we needed to support him in his language journey. We consider ourselves so lucky to have worked with Laura and would recommend her to any family searching for a stellar SLP!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Laura is truly exceptional! I've seen many speech therapists work with young children throughout my multi-decade teaching career. Laura is highly skilled at making connections with children where they are, and in their own style. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of that skill! Children requiring speech support NEED adults who can read their body language and vocalizations. She should be teaching other Speech Therapists how to make these connections. The only downside of that, is she would have less time to work with children which is where she is most needed. I HIGHLY recommend Laura Burnham for your child. Her work supports children and their families.
