I went to Link, Jacobs & Link for the first time. It was the best dental experience I have had in decades. I had gone to a BIG dental practice on the south side for 30 years. It was OK. I liked the hygienist. But the treatment rooms were small and windowless. I felt like my feet were almost touching the wall. At Link, the treatment rooms are spacious. AND you get to look out of a window! That alone made such a difference in the whole experience. There was tons of natural light. It was quite pleasant. My new dentist was Dr. Thaw. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable, very pleasant. The front office staff were all super competent. That was a problem I had with the mega-dentist practice I used to go to. The office staff seemed like they were herding cattle. They had many dozens, probably hundr

These guys were ,EXCEPTIONAL! Everything they did was first class. They were very professional and Dr Thaw was very gentle, but thorough. The assistant was very kind, too, as I had a broken leg and she assisted me in and out of my wheel chair. OUTSTANDING!

I’ve been a pt of Dr Mike Link for a few years and was pleased being under his care. However, when Dr Mike left and Dr David took over his pt’s I felt I would be in the same “good” honest hands, this was not the case. My last visit earlier this year, was my last visit with this practice. My regular hygienist Lori had left and the practice had no hygienist whatsoever for practically one year, so Dr David did my cleaning. Which, by the way, was possibly the poorest cleaning I’ve ever received and he did not even thoroughly clean my teeth, he had someone else do the polishing. This person who did the polishing was horrendous at this procedure, she kept hitting my teeth with the tool, where I thought she would chip my teeth. She clearly was not qualified to do this. I had yet another excellent professional dental visit today at Link, Jacob's, & Link. All members of this practice are courteous, professional and caring including support staff members. That type of excellent dental service has been the norm for my many visits over many years. I highly recommend checking them out if you need dental services.

I started when it was just the “old man, Acree”. In 1984, Dr Jacobs joined his Father-in-law. I’ve moved around a bit and changed other doctors, but have remained a loyal patient of Dr. Jacobs. He is awesome. While I will be disappointed when Dr. Jacobs retires, I have no doubt the doctors they have selected to continue their legacy will be excellent.
