Life Care Center of The Willows

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Yes, the staff is very friendly and as attentive as they can be. But as stated, as they can be. There simply isn't the staff to manage as many residents/therapy patients as there is. Not to mention, when asking a nurse for a bedpan, she stated "one of the aides is on it, they have to go grab it from the shed." SHED. My second other main issue is the filth. How anyone could leave their loved one here is beyond me. I'll let the photos explain themselves. All photos were taken at time of admission. Currently working on transfer to a different facility.

Vicky Ebert - I think the Willows does a great job!!! The staff are truly fabulous, kind and attentive. It’s an intimate setting where I believe the patients can get more one on one attention. I’m glad it’s not a huge Disneyland resort.

The place looks great on the outside! Very nice when you walk in. Everyone is friendly and polite. Rooms are a bit outdated. But for the most important part is the care shown to our loved ones. Staff is very helpful to patients and take time to listen to their wants and needs independently. Seems to me they all take great pride in their jobs. Thank you and keep up the great work!! Physical therapy also explains everything to families to help them understand the why of each exercise.

The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The transition to the facility went smoothly because of the attention my mom received. She has been there for a number of years and has received excellent care. I visit often and am impressed with the cleanliness and " homey" atmosphere. Their communication with me about my mom has been reassuring and greatly appreciated.
