Everyone, pay attention. I’m writing to inform you that I had a my mother who was transferred to the North Shore Life Care Center. She had undergone hip replacement surgery and required temporary care. When I arrived at 7:53 p.m., I found my mother crying and struggling to get up. I immediately felt concerned and asked her what was wrong. She explained that she had requested her pain medication, but someone had informed her that it was unavailable until tomorrow because she had just arrived. She had been transferred at 5:30 p.m. Upon her discharge, the doctor informed me that she would receive a folder containing her medical records and the medications that the facility would provide to her. As I approached the front desk, I noticed that the receptionist, engrossed in her phone, didn’
MOST RECENT EXPERIENCE I have never seen a nursing facility that mombo jumbos the law like this facility, which says thE Doctor invoked an expired health care proxy, simply because they wanted to put my mom in long term care against her wish, it's all about the money Trying to work with them even though the using the law tupsy turvy i am being patient with them as health care professionals and very unrespectful but they not giving me anything to work with but snobbish behaviors. I am being patient due to the fact that they are changing their words and being controlled. Their plan was to put my mom in long term care but they act like they care about the patient when it's really about the money. Patients are seen as business, the person who brought the patient has to get an amount for bring
I recently visited a friend at Lifecare Center of the North Shore and was impressed by what I experienced each time I visited her. As I entered the building, a friendly receptionist was available to assist me. I immediately noticed a clean, bright, and happy environment. When I reached the floor, my friend was on, I observed the staff busy attending to their residents with joy, kindness, and dignity. A gift we all need, especially as we age. This same staff was polite and helpful to me when I needed assistance for my friend. One time I had to look for her in PT, which I couldn’t find. I asked a worker who was walking towards me. Barbara not only showed me where the room was but walked with me. When my friend wasn’t there Barbara told me she wouldn’t leave me until we found her. She cheerfu

My mother was brought to LifeCare back in Easter of 2021 .She started out on the 4 th floor ,she would ask the staff how long she had been there ?They would tell her they didn't know then would she would ask how long she will be there ?They would say they didn't know that either ? I know they did because it is in their records of everything from entry to meds to their care plan . Every time we would go and see her the person at the front desk was nice but not the staff on the patients floor . One time I was asked who I was and when I said my mother's daughter I was told no you aren't ,I had to show my ID and birth certificate to proof it . They would be rude when I asked them anything and gave attitude when I would call on the phone . My mother was moved down to the second floor and that w
