Life Care Center of Jacksonville

So far, our experience has been pretty good. With a late night transfer to the facility, things weren't quite exact, but as the next day completed, things were in a more positive direction. This is definitely NOT a slight on any of the staff. They were nice, welcoming and helpful. Coordination is just not as easy when you transfer at 9pm. I don't recommend it at all. So far I do recommend Life Care Jacksonville though. We even got to listen to a wonderful performance.

Lifecare of Jacksonville is a wonderful place. My mother has received great care from many different area of the facility from: nursing, therapy, dietary, and activities. The facility is constantly cleaning to keep the place safe. The staff are great. I am most pleased that everyone is so nice and caring.

Extremely upset. My mom was sent from an inpatient rehab where they did wonderful casting for her and turning her (bed bound and unable to turn on her own). Had her sent to Life Care and was appalled by the care. My mom can not push a call light nor yell for help. Second day they had her sitting in a wheelchair so exhausted it looked like she was going to fall out of it and she needed to be cleaned. When I went to take her back to her room I noticed the oxygen tank they had her connected to an oxygen tank that was EMPTY. We waited 2 hours for someone to come in and get her back into bed and clean her. When she needed to be cleaned next we were told they were about to pass trays and they would change her after, again 2 hours. She was do for a tube feed bolus while we were there and it was n

Outdated. Useless staff. 1CNA for 20 patients on one hall. I have a call button but have to press for at least 30 minutes before they come. I'm bed ridden right now so the risk of pooping my bed waiting for them. I tried calling the number provided in the reply but the person who answered had no idea what I was talking about. She put me on hold. After 5 minutes on hold I hung up. If they are serious about wanting to talk to me they know my room number.

The Life Care Center of Jacksonville was clean. We weren't greeted with a foul order when we entered the building or walked the floor. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I'll leave another review after my mother-n-law has been there for a few days but so far so good
