Liberty Village of Maryville

I want to thank everyone at Liberty Village Nursing Home for the outstanding care they provided to my father. A special shout-out to the skilled rehab team — Amy, Becky, Julie, and others — for their dedication and hard work in helping him get back on his feet. We’ve experienced other rehab facilities in the area, and none compare to the quality, professionalism, and compassion we found here. Liberty Village’s rehab team is the real deal. Thank you all

We moved my wife's mom out of there after a visit where my wife went to the office to put money on mom's account and I went to mom's room to visit, when I got to her room, I found mom sitting in her wheel chair in tears because she had to use the bathroom desperately, she said she had been pressing the button for 30 minutes and nobody answered her. I went to the nurses/aide station to tell them and the two aides that were there were talking about where they were going for dinner that night. When I told them about mom they just laughed it off and said it hadn't been 30 minutes and she was probably confused. I almost lost it on them but I explained mom had her faculties still and if she said 30 minutes it must have been. Mom explained to us the place was notorious for ignoring the residents

So far i'm not impressed. They didn't have a lot of information when we got my mom in there. They are very slow to respond to call buttons. She got dehydrated from diahrrea, which the nurse yelled at my mom for having an accident. They're not monitoring what she eats or drinks. Then we found out they had her on a double dose of laxitives that were from the hospital. No one is reviewing what they're giving her or relaying her current state. They do ask you what's your preferred funeral home when checking in, is that normal?

Things did not go well from the start. I got my mom there in the early afternoon. Little information on how things worked was shared with us. The bathroom was dirty in her room. I asked them to mop, but they did the basics and there was still dirt around the sides. Twice she went a week without a bath. Mom complained constantly about the food. Some days she couldn't eat it. She would ring her buzzer and no one would come for an hour and one night she laid in wet diapers all night because no one would come. They told us they were fully staffed, but we find that hard to believe. I was doing her laundry so things wouldn't get mixed up and then clothes started disappearing. She now has a UTI and it's been days and I can't get a prescription for her. I've called every day. I've calle

My dad was on the Bounce Back unit the staff were Amazing he’s a retired Veteran they’re approach was truly mind blowing up and walking all I can say thank you for the service Staff greeted you with smiles really make your love feel safe.
