LG Health Physicians Family Medicine Crooked Oak

I came off of life support, went into 10 months of rehabs/hospital stints. and was blessed with getting Crooked Oak as my family practice when the air cleared. My Dr. is Dr. M. Bukhari. He is amazing. He has worked so hard for a positive health journey for me. He listens very well, advises, gets a plan in motion, looks into things and is very knowledgeable. He also is always kind and compassionate. ~~~~ Every time I have a need to call, EACH person I have talked to like nurses… referral persons… etc.. are amazing. Listens. No rushing. Kind. Knowledgeable. Follows through with necessary things in timely fashion. I can’t explain the level of comfort I feel based on having this practice for my health journey. These Dr’s do not listen to you. I have life-threatening levels of anxiety. They make medicine to treat that and help. Both drs I saw, would NOT prescribe me the right medicine and left me suffering with this condition. I would NOT recommend this practice at all!

I am a long time patient and trust me if you compare this physicians office to some of the others in Lancaster, they (lgh crooked oak) definitely rank in the top ten. I am an older adult and I have been around, and have experience with other medical professionals. You won't find better.

Never again. I have been going to this office for years and I will never again use this facility. I had an appt this AM and while en route from my house, 40 minutes away, there was a car and truck accident that just happened. As a result, we sat a while before emergency personnel re-routed us, which added 20 minutes to my trip. Like a responsible adult, I called Crooked Oat while in my car, using the number on their website. After being on hold for 4 minutes, a gentlemen answered. I explained a had an appt this morning but I would be approximately 13 minutes late (according to google maps). He replied that he would let the office know. That was the extent of our conversation. I haven't needed to see a Dr in 3 years so they dropped as a patient. They did this without letting me know. Now, for the first time in my life I had to spend several nights in the hospital. When I was discharged from the hospital I was told to follow up with my primary care physician in 5 to 7 days. I called my doctor and Crooked Oak to make a follow up. They told me I am considered a new patient since I hadn't needed them in 3 years,,, and they are not taking any new patients so I have to find a new primary, that is their policy. How easy it would have been for them to just send me a letter, email or something a long the way to let me know they were dropping me. Now at the last minute I have to find a new primary care physician who will see me in a few days.
