LG Health Physicians Family Medicine Abbeyville

I took my elderly grandfather to his appointment and he needed to use the wheelchair. NOT ONE PERSON behind the desk or any nurses that saw me including the one who took us back to the room helped me. I was literally pushing him with one hand and caring my son in the other arm. On the way out one nurse held a door open for me but that was it.

Trying to get in to see a doctor for severe migraines they said 6 to 8 weeks. I laughed and said fine can I do a video appointment they refused. Now why can I not do a video appointment for headaches? They say I have to physically see somebody at the office for headaches but yet there's nothing physically wrong. I have problems that limit my leaving the house so video visits are key for me. The staff has completely ignored my requests and will not even acknowledge my messages. Let alone respond or call me back. I find the fact that a medical facility will not work with somebody's medical conditions to be a little weird especially when they diagnosed all of them.

I love this practice. My provider, Lauren Myer, is attentive, responsive, and takes the time to listen and to answer questions. When I have reached out on a weekend or after hours, the on-call providers have been great. The nurses and office staff are always friendly and helpful. And this morning, I called with a medication refill problem that was entirely a result of my own error, and the nurse I spoke with helped me figure out the problem and was extremely kind, reassuring, and understanding. I couldn't be happier with the care I receive from Abbeyville Family Medicine. I wish all of my provider experienced were this good.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been a patient at the Abbyville practice since I was born (26 years ago), and I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy. I strongly caution anyone considering treatment here to look elsewhere. This practice only seems to care about money, not the well-being of their patients. You abandoned me when I needed treatment for my ADHD. Without my medication and treatment, I struggled significantly to keep my job and fulfill my responsibilities at work and as a parent. Thankfully, I have since found a new practice and consulted a neurologist, who confirmed my diagnosis and is now helping me receive proper treatment. I hope you learn from my poor experience and stop leaving patients without the care they need. The treatment and medication I
