First please try to be human and not reply with the same “ This is not how we aim to run our business. We utilize an outside billing service. We’re currently making adjustments to eliminate confusion and concerns with our billing.” I see that seems to be the go to instead of actually understanding what the patient has to say. On a visit to LMC Urgent Care, my son needed to have a scan taken. It was read/done by Lexington Radiology Associates. He was billed separately about a month later but he never saw the bill arrive in the USPS mail. He discovered the amount owed by going to our EOBs of our insurance provider. Upon calling Lexington Radiology Associates to ask for a paper bill to be sent, it seemed like that was a hassle for the receptionist I talked to. They said it appears that he wou

Like most people reviewing, their billing is a complete scam. I was paying a bill from 5 months previous (which is a whole other story), and I was told by collections (which they send a lot of billing to, as seen below) that I had a much higher amount due. Turns out, I had a balance from my car crash 2 years ago, and I have quite literally never received a bill. The other person's insurance paid for all our bills, and I just went through all my paperwork recently to throw it out, and there was just no bill for this amount. This is the worst radiology office, and I will never be using them again. When we go to Lexington Medical, we will be completing any required imaging by someone else.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Claimed they have sent two bills but they have not sent anything. They did not file it under my insurance as it was “my responsibility to contact them to get them to do it.” When I provided this information during my visit to the hospital and they did not inform that I had to reach out to Lexington radiology to get them to process my insurance. Seems they have a habit of just sending bills to collections agencies and not submitting anything through insurance and blaming the patient. It’s crazy they haven’t gotten a lawsuit or anything yet. I recall receiving ONE (1) bill from Lexington Radiology Associates shortly after she was born for a CT scan that I wasn't even made aware she had while she was staying in the special care nursery. I saw the bill and thought that it would be included in the payment plan I had already set up through LexMed for both my hospital stay and hers, totaling over $50,000 before insurance. Surely a small, $60 bill would be included in that, right? Wrong. I was informed today, after only receiving a single bill for $60, that I had been sent to collections. The billing department is highly problematic. They use a third-party vendor and have no way to provide a clear bill showing the services rendered or details . I had a stroke, and the MRI and other services were provided by this facility. I was out of work at the time, and despite being approved for the hospital's charity fund, they sent the bill to collections without properly communicating or providing an itemized statement. I was informed they had mailed me a bill, but I never received it. When I requested a new bill, they refused and insisted I pay the collections directly. I even asked if they could reclaim the debt so I could pay them directly and avoid it negatively affecting my credit, but they would not accommodate me.
